Curious Caterer: Grilling Season, released in 2023
Goldy is catering for a birthday party that several people she knows are at including her ex-husband Richard. Richard tells Goldy that his girlfriend, Susie, is cheating on him. He goes up to his cabin. Then Susie dies in an explosion from her grill — and Goldy was the last person to use the grill. Tom doesn’t think Goldy did it, of course, but they have to go let Richard know that his girlfriend is dead.
I like how Goldy and Richard are friendly, unlike most divorced couples in movies.
Richard becomes a suspect in this one, which is part of what makes it interesting.
