Ready or Not 2: Here I Come

{5/5} “The ball is in play.”

Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, released in 2026

Grace was taken to the hospital, where she is recuperating from her injuries. She’s handcuffed to the bed, and a police officer explains that there were dead bodies in the house and blood that wasn’t hers on her dress — so she’ll have to come to the station to make a statement. When her estranged sister Faith shows up, Grace tells her what happened even though she knows she won’t believe her.

You may have thought that the first movie was unlikely to have a sequel but this one expands the world in way that is internally consistent, allows brilliant actors to have fun, and is hilarious.

There’s no way it could match the unexpectedness of the first one but fans of the first will definitely want to watch this one.

The relationship between the sisters is a fantastic aspect of the movie.

Stars Sarah Michelle Gellar, Elijah Wood, Kathryn Newton, and David Cronenberg.

Directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett (Ready or Not). The music is by Sven Faulconer, with a little help from people like Bach and Chopin.
