Big Four & Mt. Rainier, Washington
I spent a week and a half in Washington State. My photos are of 2 excursions to visit mountains. The 1st one is the mountain known as Big Four — you can see the four peaks of the mountain in several pictures. There are ice caves here, which you used to be able to go in. But the ice caves have shrunk drastically over the years and they’re more dangerous now so they strongly suggest you don’t go in them.
Mt. Rainier is the highest peak in Washington State, and is so iconic it’s on their license plates. We drove all around it to get the view from both sides.
