Sherlock (season 4)

{5/5} “I delete any text that begins, ‘Hi.'” — Sherlock

Sherlock season 4, aired in 2017

Moriarty seems to be back but Sherlock is confident it’s just a game Moriarty set up in case of his death. Meanwhile, John and Mary have a baby girl. Mary discovers that one of her old spy colleagues is still alive — and wants her dead. Sherlock says a rich man is a serial killer but he doesn’t seem to have any evidence. Later Sherlock finds out something shocking about his family that he’s forgotten for many years.

At times surprising, funny, and sad — this season is as gripping as ever.

The supporting cast features Una Stubbs, Mark Gatiss, Louise Brealey, Amanda Abbington, and Rupert Graves.

Toby Jones guest stars in one episode.

This may or may not be the last season — but Benedict Cumberbatch says never say never.

The show was created by Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat.
