The Good Place (season 1)

{5/5} “There’s something so human about taking something great, and ruining it a little, so you can have more of it.” — Michael, about frozen yogurt

The Good Place season 1, aired in 2016-17

Eleanor Shellstrop arrives in the afterlife — she’s relieved to find that she’s in the Good Place. But then she finds out that there’s been a mistake — someone else with the same name died at the same moment and they got mixed up. She was really supposed to go to the Bad Place — but what if she can become a good person now?

This show will make you feel the way you did when you started watching Modern Family and The Big Bang Theory. Every episode is hilarious — and surprising.

Kristen Bell and Ted Danson are comedic geniuses.

Created by Michael Schur (the TV show Parks and Recreation).
