Gotham (season 4)

{5/5} “An invitation? After I killed your father’s last remaining loyalists? Perhaps you overestimate the pleasure of your company.”

Gotham season 4, aired in 2017-18

The Penguin has made a deal with the Commissioner and the Mayor — criminals with “licenses” will be ignored by the GCPD. Jim isn’t happy about this but Harvey asks him to play ball, for now. Jonathan Crane becomes the Scarecrow. Bruce is trying to do his part to keep the city safe — and Mr. Fox gives him a present that will help. Barbara is back and she, Tabitha, and Selina agree to work together.

You never know who’s going to return on Gotham.

Though it’s often brutal, the complex characters and gripping storylines will keep you coming back.

The season finale would have made a perfect series finale.

Stars Alexander Siddig, Jessica Lucas, and Drew Powell.

I previously reviewed season 3.
