The Incredibles

{5/5} “You always always say be true to yourself, but you never say which part of yourself to be true to!”

The Incredibles, released in 2004

After superheroes getting sued a bunch of times, they hang up their capes and lead regular lives. Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl are married with 3 kids when someone from Mr. Incredible’s past returns. A villain calling himself Syndrome was the kid Mr. Incredible rejected as a sidekick in the old days.

It’s an exciting and hilarious animated movie.

Out of all the terrific parts, the best part is when the family is working together.

The director, Brad Bird, provides the voice of Edna Mode.

Stars the voices of Craig T. Nelson, Samuel L. Jackson, and Holly Hunter. Directed by Brad Bird (Tomorrowland). The astonishing soundtrack is by Michael Giacchino.

This is the 2nd or 3rd time I’ve seen it.
