Addams Family Values

{5/5} “I’m just like any modern woman trying to have it all. Loving husband, a family. It’s just, I wish I had more time to seek out the dark forces and join their hellish crusade.”

Addams Family Values, released in 1993

Gomez and Morticia Addams have had a third child, Pubert. Wednesday and Pugsley try to kill him in various ways, but he’s still alive so far. They’ve gone through several nannies but then they meet Debbie. Debbie’s really after Fester’s money, and she convinces Morticia and Gomez to send Pugsley and Wednesday away to summer camp. Meanwhile, Fester has fallen for Debbie and they get engaged.

It’s more hilarious fun with your favourite family that’s just a bid odd.

One more quotation: “I’ll get you, and your little hand too!”

Stars Christina Ricci, Jimmy Workman, Carel Struycken, and Joan Cusack. Directed by Barry Sonnenfeld (The Addams Family). The music is once again by Marc Shaiman.

This is the 3rd or 4th time I’ve seen it.

There was one more live action Addams Family movie, Addams Family Reunion, with a different director and cast — but it’s not so great.
