Bill & Ted Face the Music

{4.5/5} “Woah.”

Bill & Ted Face the Music, released in 2020

Bill and Ted were once told that they would write a song that would save the world. They’ve been trying to write that song for 25 years, but now the people of the future are demanding they do it in the next 75 minutes. Ted comes up with a plan — visit themselves in the future where they will have already written the song, and take it from them.

I have a great fondness for the first 2 movies in this series.

This is the movie the world needs right now, to bring us together. Surely we can all agree that Bill and Ted are excellent.

It’s funny, and it has a nice message. Fans of the first 2 movies will find that the story comes to a satisfying conclusion.

It’s nice to see William Sadler, Hal Landon Jr., and Amy Stoch reprise their roles. Newcomers Kristen Schaal, Samara Weaving, and Brigette Lundy-Paine fit very well into this universe.

Stars Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter. Directed by Dean Parisot (RED 2).
