Whose Line is it Anyway? (season 16)
{4.5/5} “Just a tip. If you start walking, don’t move the weight bearing leg first. It’s something I’ve just learned.” — Colin
Whose Line is it Anyway? season 16, aired in 2020
Wayne and guest star Amber Riley sing a song about living in a shipping container home. Ryan, Colin, and Wayne are waiters at an Old Testament themed restaurant. Wayne sings songs from “Songs of the Motel.” Wayne and Chip sing songs from “Songs of the Plastic Surgeon.” Wayne, Jonathan, Colin, and Ryan provide examples of the world’s worst things to see on a TV travel show. Chip and guest star Ricki Lake visit an Olympics theme restaurant.
I love how much guest star Ricki Lake laughed when she was on stage with the guys.
Wayne is the best at coming up with lyrics on the spot, but even he fails occasionally — in a song about Emily who died in a zoo-related accident, he fails to come up with a lyric and makes himself and everyone else laugh.
One of the more recent games is “Mixed Messages,” in which two of the performers can only speak the texts that are on cell phones loaned from audience members — it’s very funny.
It’s another season with some of the funniest people around.
I previously reviewed season 15.
