Whose Line is it Anyway? (season 18)

{4.5/5} “We’ll be right back to our documentary on bloodsucking cows… ‘The Vampire Dairies’…” — Colin

Whose Line is it Anyway? season 18, aired in 2021-22

Wayne, Colin, Ryan, and Jeff sing the “Prom” hoedown. Ryan and Colin are Dr. Frankenstein and Igor in “Sound Effects.” Wayne sings songs from the albums “The Mall,” and “Songs of the Hairdresser.” Wayne and Jonathan sing songs from the album “Song of the Movie Star.” Wayne recounts the history of the US in 2 minutes. And there are more scenes, some of them from a hat.

They brought back the game “Forward Rewind” which they hadn’t played in years — it can be funny. They even do a new game, “Radio Show.” Wayne and Jonathan host a radio show about sloths, and Colin and Ryan are all the people who call in.

Colin gives Wayne such absurdly long song titles that sometimes they both forget what it is. I also like how happy pianist Laurel Hall looks when Wayne sings a great song.

One of the funniest lines in context: Ryan says, “I was thinking of a totally different band.”

I previously reviewed season 17.
