Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
{4.5/5} “Just because someone stumbles and loses their way doesn’t mean they’re lost forever.”
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, released in 2022
Doctor Strange fights alongside a young girl in his dream and then he meets her the next day. America says the dream wasn’t a dream but something that happened in another universe. Her power, that the demon was trying to take, is that she can travel from one universe to another. When Strange realizes that the demon is using witchcraft, he seeks the help of Wanda Maximoff.
This is the sequel to Doctor Strange, among other things.
Some visually interesting sequences would have been nice to see on the big screen.
Cameos include Bruce Campbell, Charlize Theron, John Krasinski, Anson Mount, and more surprising ones.*
One of my favourite parts is when you-know-who says “I can do this all day.”
It’s about second chances, regrets, and ways things could have gone differently.
It has a sympathetic villain, and lots of funny and satisfying moments.
Stars Elizabeth Olsen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Benedict Wong, and Rachel McAdams. Directed by Sam Raimi (Spider-Man 2). The exciting music is by Danny Elfman.
The previous movie I watched in the MCU is Thor: Love and Thunder.
Spoiler alert
*Hayley Atwell and Patrick Stewart
