Enola has opened her own detective agency but most potential clients can’t get past the fact that she’s a girl. Just when she thinks she’ll have to quit and go home, a girl comes in a says she’s lost her sister, Sarah. After looking around where the girls live, Enola visits the match factory where they work. She discovers that Sarah stole some pages out of a book in the foreman’s office.

It’s abut following the clues.

It’s very funny. The scene at the ball is particularly amusing.

It’s exciting and fun, and it has a beautiful ending. It contains an event that happened in real life.*

Henry Cavill makes a welcome return as Sherlock. As does Helena Bonham Carter as their mother.

Himesh Patel has a cameo as Dr. John Watson.

Stars Louis Partridge, David Thewlis, and Susan Wokoma. Directed by Harry Bradbeer (Enola Holmes). Daniel Pemberton returns with a delightful soundtrack.
