Dollhouse (season 1)

{5/5} “I try to be my best.”

Dollhouse season 1, aired in 2009

Echo lives at the Dollhouse, and goes on various missions each with a new personality, after which her memory is wiped. She also doesn’t remember who she was before — when she got in some trouble and made a deal with the Dollhouse people. When a rich man’s daughter is kidnapped, Echo is going to take the ransom money to the exchange. Meanwhile, Agent Ballard is attempting to find out about the Dollhouse but has been having trouble doing so.

This show has a unique concept and every episode provides more information about this fascinating world.

It’s about what happens when you’re involved with something that’s on the cutting edge of science but ethically questionable.

When Echo shakes her head at Sierra at the end of the 3rd episode — that’s when things get kicked up a notch.

The season finale jumps ahead 10 years and gives a startling preview of people trying to survive after an apocalypse.

Guest stars include Patton Oswalt, Alan Tudyk, and Felicia Day.

Stars Eliza Dushku, Harry Lennix, Fran Kranz, and Tahmoh Penikett.

Created by Joss Whedon (co-creator of Agents of SHIELD, writer/director of Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog).

This is the 2nd time I’ve watched it.
