U. S. Marshals

{4/5} “Seems we have ourselves a bona fide federal fugitive out on the lam.”

U. S. Marshals, released in 1998

When Mark is in an accident and his gun is discovered in his truck, the police inform him his fingerprints have been found at the scene of a double murder in New York. Mark says he’s innocent, but of course they don’t believe him. The plane he’s being transported on crashes, and he escapes. But with Sam Gerard and his team of U. S. Marshals chasing him, he will be found.

This is a sequel to The Fugitive, in that the characters of Sam Gerard and his team continue to the second movie.

I like how Sam is dressed as a chicken at the beginning. The banter among Sam’s team is a nice part of the movie.

You know that he’s going to be innocent, but it’s still an interesting story. It’s a good action movie — not quite a great one.

Stars Wesley Snipes, Robert Downey Jr., Daniel Roebuck, and Tom Wood. Directed by Stuart Baird (Star Trek: Nemesis).

This is the 2nd time I’ve seen it.
