Beyond the Infinite Two Minutes

{5/5} “We’re not suspicious people.”

Beyond the Infinite Two Minutes, released in 2020

A man who owns a cafe lives in a room upstairs. He discovers that the monitor in his room is connected to the monitor downstairs in his cafe. The one in his room is 2 minutes in the past. This allows him to talk to himself. And find out things from himself and his friends in the future.

This is a strange movie but it is enjoyable. There are some funny parts.

It’s low budget but very clever — they carefully considered how this would work.

Stars Kazunari Tosa and Riko Fujitani. Directed by Junta Yamaguchi (River).
