High School Musical 3: Senior Year
“‘I’ve never even heard of Juilliard.’ ‘Well, that may be the case, Mr. Bolton, but evidently Juilliard has heard of you.'”
High School Musical 3: Senior Year, released in 2008
I don’t usually review movies that I didn’t watch all of, but this one was requested — I watched about half of it. I would likely give it around a 3/5.
Troy has to decide what he’s going to do after high school. He assumed he’d go to university for basketball but his has the opportunity to go to Juilliard for drama. Of course, he doesn’t want to be far away from Gabriella, who’s going to Stanford. They’re looking forward to prom, as well as a final show. But Gabriella has gotten into a prestigious early admission to Stanford — it would mean missing both of those things.
I haven’t seen the other movies in this series. This one jumps around, making it a bit difficult to follow.
The scene where Troy and another guy steal the clothes from two guys was pretty disgusting.
As for the songs, the only one that had any oomph was Sharpay’s song “I Want It All.”
Stars Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, and Ashley Tisdale. Directed by Kenny Ortega (Descendants).
