Max’s ship explodes and he flies into Molli’s ship. Max gives Molli a power crystal in exchange for passage to Megalopolis. They become friends, and they even have a secret handshake. She joins a cult and he becomes a mech fighter. Later they help each other with their dating profiles.
This movie is brilliant.
The dialogue between Molli and Max is hilarious.
Stars Zosia Mamet and Aristotle Athari. Directed by Michael Lukk Litwak (the TV show Snatchers). The jazzy music by Alex Winkler is delightful.
