Gary, Callie, Trevor, and Phoebe are working as Ghostbusters, keeping New York clean of ghosts. Still, the mayor isn’t happy about the damage they cause. Also, the mayor demands that Phoebe stop being a Ghostbuster since she’s a minor. Ray receives a spherical object as his store that he thinks may contain a spirit. Phoebe meets a ghost who says she has unfinished business.
This is the sequel to Ghostbusters: Afterlife.
It’s a funny movie for fans of the series. It manages to bring in a bunch of characters in a way that makes sense.
William Atherton reprises his role of Walter Peck from the original movie.
Stars Carrie Coon, Kumail Nanjiani, and Patton Oswalt. Directed by Gil Kenan (City of Ember). The delightful music by Dario Marianelli contains hints of the original soundtrack.
