Person of Interest (season 1)
{4.5/5} “Banking is mostly looking clever and wearing the right clothes.”
Person of Interest season 1, aired in 2011-12
John beats up some thugs on the subway and catches the interest of Mr. Finch. Although John is homeless Finch understands that he just needs something to do. He has an intriguing proposition for him — help prevent murders and kidnappings that he has information about. Eventually Finch explains that the information comes from a machine he built for the government, a machine that has eyes and ears everywhere.
One thing that makes this show different is that they just get a social security number from the machine — so they don’t initially know whether the person is a victim or a perpetrator.
The individual episodes are great, and the ongoing story is intriguing. Reese and Finch make a good team.
Guest stars include Brett Cullen, Ruben Santiago-Hudson, Linda Cardellini, and Enrico Colantoni.
