Humans (season 2)

{4.5/5} “Can I come in? If I was here to kill you all, I wouldn’t have rung the bell.” — Niska

Humans season 2, aired in 2017

Niska is in Berlin, and she decides to release the code that allows other synths to become conscious. A few synths here and there become free — they make their way to Leo and Max. Mia works in a restaurant, pretending to be a basic synth. Laura and Joe have moved to a new house with the kids — then Joe finds out he’s been replaced at work by a synth.

The show covers familiar ground, but it does it very well.

The story builds to a startling conclusion in the season finale.

Guest stars include Letitia Wright.

Stars Colin Morgan, Ivanno Jeremiah, Emily Berrington, and Carrie-Anne Moss.

I previously reviewed season 1.
