Salvation (season 2)

{5/5} “We’re running out of time. If I had to partner up with Darth Vader right now I’d freaking do it to save the human race.”

Salvation season 2, aired in 2018

Darius and Liam are working on trying to deflect the asteroid. President Mackenzie is trying not to go to war with the Russians, even though the Russians sent 4 missiles into the air. And 189 people are in the Ark bunker — some are on the list of people going on the Ark and some aren’t. When they emerge 5 days later Grace is surprised to find that Darius is now vice president.

This is the last season.

You might argue that one or two decisions made were a bit flimsy, but since they are dealing with multiple crises maybe that makes sense. It’s a terrific show.

Many storylines are brought to a conclusion, but there is new information in the last few minutes that would have served as a springboard for a theoretical season 3.

Guest stars include Aaron Douglas. Tovah Feldshuh plays President Mackenzie.

Stars Jacqueline Byers, Ian Anthony Dale, Rachel Drance, and Erica Luttrell.

I previously reviewed season 1.
