Dickinson (season 2)

{4.5/5} “‘It’s crazy how young they are.’ ‘I know. Think about it. They don’t even remember a time before telegrams.'”

Dickinson season 2, aired in 2020

Sue invites a newspaper editor to her party in order to introduce him to Emily, as she believes he will want to publish her poems. Sue used to be poor but now she spends lots of money — including dresses from New York and a new horse. Emily sometimes sees a man named Nobody, who no one else sees, and he warns her against seeking fame. Since she’s so uncertain, she decides to have a séance to ask the spirits for advice.

It’s another thought-provoking season. There’s a big event that’s a prelude to the country tearing itself apart.

Stars Anna Baryshnikov, Toby Huss, and Chinaza Uche.

I previously reviewed season 1.
