Humans (season 3)

{4.5/5} “As far as we know, not a single new synthetic has become conscious since Day Zero. We can’t procreate, Niska, and our bodies are finite. In 50 years we’ll all be gone.”

Humans season 3, aired in 2018

Synths woke up all over the world, and the resulting chaos resulted in many deaths — both among humans and synths. The green-eyed synths now reside behind a fence. A company has produced a new kind of synths, orange eyed, that are supposedly safe. Humans and synths have at least one place to hang out together, but someone doesn’t like that and blows it up. Laurie and Joe are separated — Joe lives in a town with no synths.

This is the last season.

The show is a bit bleak at times, but it’s realistic. It ends on a hopeful note, but also with threads hanging that suggested they expected another season.

It’s about standing up for what’s right no matter what.

Stars Lucy Carless, Theo Stevenson, Pixie Davies, and Ruth Bradley.

I previously reviewed season 2.
