Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die

{5/5} “You are the least useful person I’ve ever met.”

Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die, released in 2025

A man walks into a diner and says he’s from the future. Of course, no one believes him. When they don’t pay attention, he says he has a bomb. He knows things about them. He says the future is going to go horribly wrong and he needs their help. Eventually one woman volunteers and he selects a few others to join them. Then the police show up.

Sam Rockwell will remind you he’s a genius very quickly in the opening scene.

It’s hilarious, and has a good message.

When the flashbacks start featuring the people on his team, they’re a bit odd.

Although the antagonist is a common one these days, the story is unique.

Stars Juno Temple, Zazie Beetz, Michael Peña, and Haley Lu Richardson. Directed by Gore Verbinski (Rango). The playful music is by Geoff Zanelli.
