Planet of the Apes
The next Planet of the Apes movie isn’t coming out until next year but this list is ready so I’m posting it.
I read the original novel by Pierre Boulle years ago and enjoyed it a lot. I read some fairly recent graphic novels by Daryl Gregory and Corinna Bechko and enjoyed them too.
Ape fever was so high in the 1970s that there were 2 TV shows. The live action Planet of the Apes (1974) gets 3/5. I haven’t seen the animated Return to the Planet of the Apes (1975).
As for the movies, I’ve seen all of them — the first 6 more than once. Here’s the list.
