Loki (season 1)
{4.5/5} “‘What makes a Loki a Loki?’ ‘Independence, authority… style.”
Loki season 1, aired in 2021
When a tesseract is dropped at his feet, Loki grabs it — he thinks he’s free, but the timeline police arrest him almost immediately. Loki has no powers inside the Time Variance Authority. Agent Mobius comes along to offer Loki a chance to do something good. Mobius wants Loki to help him track down a dangerous variant — another version of Loki.
You already know that Tom Hiddleston is brilliant, and you probably know that Owen Wilson is brilliant. Here they are thrillingly hilarious together.
I like the old fashioned videos at the TVA.
The scenes of Loki talking to the other Loki are almost as good as the scenes of Loki talking to Mobius.
Things are kicked up a notch in the 4th episode, when Mobius starts to believe something that Loki told him.
There are only 6 episodes, but season 2 is coming.
The playfully mysterious music is by Natalie Holt.
Guest stars include Richard E. Grant and Jaimie Alexander, reprising her role as Sif from the Thor movies.
Stars Sophia Di Martino and Gugu Mbatha-Raw.
Created by Michael Waldron (Heels).
The previous TV show in the MCU is The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
