Curious Caterer: Fatal Vows

{4.5/5} “‘Did Sterling have any enemies?’ ‘Everyone loved Sterling.’ ‘Everyone hated Sterling.'” — Tom, Ray & Hunter

Curious Caterer: Fatal Vows, released in 2023

Goldy agrees to cater Jessamyn‘s rehearsal and wedding, even though she knows she’s going to be difficult. Jessamyn happens to be Tom’s ex-wife, but they get along all right. Goldy runs into an old high school friend, who is the maid of honour. When Jessamyn’s fiance Sterling is drunk, Tom has to break up a fight between him and another guest. The next day Sterling turns up dead and Jessamyn is nowhere to be found.

This is another fun mystery. Goldy and Tom know the people involved, so that makes it more interesting.

The humour is delightful.

Stars Sunita Prasad, Brock Morgan, and Amanda Khan. Directed by Paul Ziller (Curious Caterer: Grilling Season). The playful music is by Jordan Klassen and Taylor Swindells.

I previously reviewed Curious Caterer: Dying for Chocolate in this series.
