Bonnie has trouble getting the neighbour kids to play with her, so Jessie decides to take things into her own hands. When she gets to the neighbour’s house, though, she finds some toys sitting outside — who reveal to her the horror of screens. She can see through the window the kids aren’t playing with toys, they’re staring at their screens.
This movie will grab you from the first scene.
I like how Jessie is the lead in this one, and even though Woody is in a different location they still have a way of communicating with him.
One of my favourite moments is when Bullseye jumps into Jessie’s arms. The Buzz Lightyears who washed up on a deserted island are also hilarious.
It is both thoughtful and screamingly funny. It both connects perfectly to what has gone before and moves the story forward.
Stars Conan O’Brien, Greta Lee, Craig Robinson, and Bonnie Hunt. Directed by Andrew Stanton (Finding Nemo) and McKenna Harris (story artist on Luca). Randy Newman wrote another beautiful score.
