Elementary (season 2)

Holmes and Watson go to London to help Holmes’ old colleague Inspector Lestrade, and while there they run into Sherlock’s brother Mycroft — the two brothers don’t seem to get along very well. Watson has become more observant and therefore more helpful to Holmes’ cases. When the son of the man who accidentally died on her operating table asks Watson for money, she’s not sure what to do. Holmes is getting letters that he’s keeping a secret from Watson.
Elementary season 2 just finished. It’s just as good as season 1.
As with Castle, both the individual episodes and the ongoing story are fascinating. Holmes has grown as a person but he doesn’t want things to change too much. Mycroft turns out to be full of surprises.
Captain Gregson and Detective Bell get more interesting storylines this season.
