In Time

{5/5} “‘It’s a two hour walk. I have an hour and a half.’ ‘Then you better run.'”

In Time, released in 2011

In the future everyone has how much time they have left to live on their arm. The rich live forever, and the poor struggle to get by. Will works in a factory — each day earning just enough. When he runs into a guy with a century of time in the wrong place, he helps him — but now the minutemen are after them. It turns out the guy is 105 years old and ready to die.

I love the premise.

The dialogue between Will and Sylvia is delightful.

It’s about trying to make the system fairer.

Olivia Wilde and Johnny Galecki have small parts. Ethan Peck and Bella Heathcote have blink-and-you’ll-miss-it parts.

Stars Justin Timberlake, Amanda Seyfried, Cillian Murphy, and Vincent Kartheiser, Directed by Andrew Niccol (Anon). The music is by Craig Armstrong.

This is the 2nd time I’ve seen it.
