Star Trek: SNW — The Scorpius Run

{4.5/5} “If our new crewman has taught us anything today… it is that logic without empathy is illogical.”

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds — The Scorpius Run by Ryan Parrott & Mike Johnson, published in 2024

While in the region known as the Scorpion, Captain Pike and the Enterprise respond to a distress call. They take on a being named Aisla. She promises to hep them out of the region if they first take her to Ceius Prime to repay her debt to crime boss Zephyx. Zephyx will only allow them to leave if they take part in her starship race.

This is a graphic novel. The artwork is top notch, with accurate characters you know and delightful aliens.

The regulars are joined by Pelia and Sam Kirk. Una and Spock have nice roles.

It’s about teamwork, using your skills, and being one with the ship.

This is the 1st book I’ve read by Parrott.

I’ve read 2 books by Johnson. I previously reviewed Star Trek: Strange New Worlds — The Illyrian Enigma.
