Finding Nemo

{5/5} “I am a nice shark, not a mindless eating machine. If I am to change this image, I must first change myself.”

Finding Nemo, released in 2003

When Marlin’s son Nemo gets captured by a human diver, Marlin goes after him. He finds the diver’s mask, which says he comes from Sydney. He runs into Dory, a kind fish who has short-term memory problems. Meanwhile, Nemo is living in an aquarium in a dentist’s office with a few other fish. They have a plan for getting out, but it’s dangerous.

The animation of the underwater kingdom is stunning.

This movie is about family, perseverance, and letting things go.

It’s very funny.

Stars Albert Brooks, Ellen DeGeneres, Geoffrey Rush, and Barry Humphries. Directed by Andrew Stanton (WALL-E) and Lee Unkrich (Toy Story 3).

This is the 3rd or 4th time I’ve seen it. My previous review is here.
